Los Alamitos needs 100% participation from all of our families by using the SCRIP program. We need your immediate and extended family! Please show your commitment to this important program by participating in at least two forms of SCRIP fund-raising. Studies prove music’s value in early childhood education. Between the various forms of SCRIP, some are most certainly in line with your family’s way of managing household expenses and gift giving. SCRIP program does not cost anything. It is simply a way of doing business that profits our school. We thank you for your willingness to “learn how” and for your continued support.
There are three ways to participate in SCRIP.
- SCRIP Gift Cards & Certificates - This “substitute money”can be used every day just like cash at many retail and restaurant locations in our neighborhood. For every dollar you spend through SCRIP our school earns up to 25%! You can buy SCRIP before and after school Monday through Friday on the black top near the K-1 class room and PE Closet and you can order your SCRIP online.
- eScrip - When you register your debit/credit cards, every purchase you make with those cards at over 150 merchants (like Safeway, Macy’s, OfficeMax, and others) will earn up to 10%. Please use group ID 137225438 when registering your cards at http://www.escrip.com/.
- Grocery Club Cards - Safeway offers Los Alamitos a percentage of every purchase just by swiping your RED club card at every transaction. Your RED club card must be designated to give to Los Alamitos. Go online to http://www.escrip.com/ to designate Los Alamitos as the recipient of your Safeway Club dollars. Lucky’s also has a grocery club card called the Lucky SHARES card. You can pick up a SHARES card at the SCRIP table any day that SCRIP is open. These cards are already assigned to Los Alamitos. You do not need to activate them. Simply swipe your SHARES card before the end of every purchase and Los Alamitos receives 3% of your transaction.
